Networks

Our Networks cover different topics each term and will keep delegates up to date on relevant early years issues, developments or new initiatives as well as providing invaluable networking opportunities.To make our networks as accessible as possible, we offer a blend of face‑to‑face sessions and online events. This flexible approach allows practitioners to choose the format that works best for them, while still benefiting from rich discussion, shared learning, and the chance to build strong professional relationships.

Nottingham City SENCO Networks are designed for Day Nurseries, Pre‑Schools, and Schools offering two‑year provision. These sessions help practitioners stay up to date with current SEND developments while providing valuable opportunities to network, share practice, and learn from one another. Childminders in Nottingham City who support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are also warmly invited to attend.

The PVCI DSL Network is free to attend for Nottingham City DSLs and overseen by the Nottingham City Safeguarding Children Partnership (NCSCP). Featuring regular guest speakers the network provides valuable information to ensure all DSLs are kept up to date with current issues and developments.

The Nottingham City Childminders Network provides a valuable opportunity for childminders to come together, share experiences, and strengthen their practice. These sessions offer a supportive space to explore key topics, learn about current Early Years priorities, and gain practical ideas that can be applied directly in day‑to‑day work with children and families.

Some key information about our Networks:

To attend the Leadership or SENCO Network meetings, your setting must have completed the Annual Registration Form

You must also book on to the individual Network Meeting dates, as you would for any other course.
All Network Meetings are led by members of the Early Years Team, accompanied by relevant Guest Speakers
There will be a bonus Prize Draw at every Network!

Please note it is not permissible to share links for Networks between settings unless you have purchased the Multiple Setting Membership option and details of each setting are recorded on your Registration Form.
