Cherry Trees dining

Our chefs are knowledgeable about the nutritional requirements of older individuals and take great care to prepare meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

We offer a variety of tasty, wholesome dishes and engage residents in the menu selection process at a local level. With daily meal options, we accommodate special dietary needs and preferences to promote health and nourishment.

We prepare all meals fresh on-site, and snacks are available throughout the day. Our menu rotates every four weeks, offering a diverse selection for each meal.

We arrange a variety of activities for our residents to enjoy each day, both within our home and in the surrounding community.

Being engaged and involved in enjoyable activities is a crucial part of life. We plan activities that cater to the desires and interests of our residents.

We also host social events within the home, featuring themed celebrations, arts and crafts, quizzes, and regular entertainment.

Activities are customised to address the needs of our residents, and we gladly welcome their suggestions. We offer a variety of programs designed to stimulate the mind, enhance health and well-being through movement, and promote engagement with the community.

Our beautifully landscaped grounds feature level paths, discreet security fencing, and inviting outdoor seating areas. We also have a charming garden specifically designed to meet the needs of older adults and individuals with a diagnosis of dementia.

The gardens are planted with lavender and honeysuckles and residents can also help to maintain the raised flower beds and potting plants.

There is a free to use Visitor car park situated to the front and limited on street parking.

Most individuals contribute at least some amount toward the cost of their social care support. Some choose to self-fund their care, while others may qualify for assistance from the council to cover part or all of the costs.

Who pays for what can be quite complicated as it depends on things such as whether you meet the local authority threshold for services, the outcome of your assessment of need and subsequent support plan and your personal financial circumstances such as income, including benefits, savings and any property you own. As a rule of thumb if you have more than £23,250 in saving or in property you will need to pay something.

If you are eligible but can’t meet the cost of these services, the council will undertake a financial assessment with you.
