Spring Meadow Day Centre is dedicated to supporting adults aged 18 and over with moderate, severe, and profound learning disabilities. We are open Monday to Friday and are conveniently located in the Meadows, close to Nottingham City Centre.

Our centre focuses on maintaining social interactions and engaging in hobbies and leisure activities while promoting independence and respecting cultural and spiritual values.

We accommodate a wide range of learning disability needs, from moderate to severe. Additionally, we provide support for individuals with physical disabilities and those exhibiting challenging behaviours.

Most of our activities at Spring Meadow Day Centre are site-based, offering a variety of sessions such as performing arts, gardening, and crafts.
In addition, we organise trips and activities within the community to further enrich our citizens' experiences.

Sessions include:

  • Art and Craft
  • Grow and eat
  • Gardening groups
  • Community outings
  • Performing arts
  • Women’s and Men health and well-being sessions

Fees vary based on the level of support needed and are determined after a taster session and assessment. A financial assessment by the Fairer Charging Team will decide the contribution required to attend the Centre.

Nottingham City Council has eligibility criteria to identify citizens eligible for day care services, prioritizing those with high support needs. Assessments are generally done by social work teams and the adult contact centre, though some citizens refer themselves.

If you wish to buy services without an assessment, please contact us directly for more details using the contact number at the end of this page

How to get there:

  • Public Transport - To access the centre please catch Nottingham City Transport Number 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, N4
  • Arranged Transport - Transport to and from the Centre can be arranged if this is part of your assessed needs. There is a charge for transport which is means tested.
  • Plan your journey - Nottingham City Transport (nctx.co.uk)

We’d love to hear from you! Whether you have questions about our services, need assistance with the referral process, or want to arrange a visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
