Adult Sensory Team
We provide specialist support to people with a sensory impairment, employing Vision Rehabilitation Specialists who understand the impact of Sight Loss / Dual Sensory Loss.
We will:
- Provide information and advice about your situation and make referrals if needed
- Provide some specialist equipment to help you manage everyday living tasks
- Assess your rehabilitation needs and work with you on a program of sensory rehabilitation
We can also support the people around you to understand your sensory loss and how to support you, for example by teaching Sighted Guide techniques.
Contact the Children’s Sensory & Physical Team to access support for children and young adults under the age of 18.
