NBV Enterprise Solutions is a locally based organisation dedicated to supporting aspiring entrepreneurs, start-ups, and growing businesses. With a strong commitment to enterprise development, NBV provides expert business advice, training, mentoring, and access to funding opportunities. Operating for over 40 years, the organisation has played a key role in fostering local economic growth by empowering individuals to launch and sustain successful businesses.

About our UKSPF project

NBV is delivering a funded business support programme across Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire, running until March 2026. 

The programme offers a blend of group workshops and one-to-one support for individuals exploring self-employment, as well as new and trading small businesses with growth potential.

Key elements include the Starting in Business programme, which provides comprehensive guidance on the fundamentals of setting up a business—covering business planning, marketing, pricing, financial management, and access to finance.

Participants also benefit from tailored Business Advice delivered by experienced Business Advisers who provide practical, high-quality support across all aspects of running a business. The goal is to help individuals maximise business success and develop the necessary skills for long-term sustainability.

NBV’s expert team has extensive experience across all sectors, with a strong focus on supporting pre-starts, start-ups, and micro businesses. The programme is designed to remove barriers to entrepreneurship and enable business growth across the region.
