Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
Important change! | As of 1st April 2022, ABL Health has been commissioned by NHS Clinical Commissioning Group to provide early mental health & emotional wellbeing support for children & young people (CYP) & their parents/carers, this pathway is Be U Notts. Nottingham City and County CAMHS are working collaboratively on various projects to ensure that young people receive support at the point of need reduce wait times for young people who require support offered by our CAMH Services. The CAMHS Wellbeing Hub (WBE Hub) will offer young people who are referred in to CAMHS an alternative to assessment and treatment. This support will be a psychosocial intervention and will be facilitated by the WBE Hub Campus Facilitator and a Peer Facilitator. The intervention offered by the WBE Hub may be deemed appropriate for young people who are referred to Nottingham City CAMHS. The referral details will be forwarded to the WBE Hub and the young person will be contacted to discuss the intervention. Personal details, referral information will be saved on a secure database call RIO which can be viewed by professionals within CAMHS.
