Our Improvement Plan is a new plan drawn up by the council for how we will become a financially sustainable, resilient and better run organisation which consistently delivers services which residents can trust and rely on. The Plan addresses the issues and challenges which led to the Government's appointment of Commissioners to oversee the authority. It has been developed and agreed with the Commissioners and will guide the improvement required across the council over the next two years.
The Improvement Plan was recommended by Executive Board on 16 July 2024 and approved by Full Council on 5 August 2024
