Bin collections

Adverse weather conditions, including ice and snow, will make some streets unsafe for waste collection today and in the coming days. Slippery footpaths, steep and narrow roads, pose hazards for our 32-tonne vehicles and crews.

All crews were despatched during the snowy weather (residual, recycling and garden) but we may not complete all collections due to the road conditions. If we’re unable to reach your street we’ll return as soon as we can, so please leave your bin presented and await further updates. 

Updates will be shared at on our website and social media.

 How You Can Help:

• Be patient with our crews as they work safely.
• In cul-de-sacs or hard-to-reach areas, bring bins to the main road.
• On narrow streets, move bins to accessible points at the end of the road.
• Check on elderly or vulnerable neighbours who may need assistance.
