Educational Activities and Resources for Schools and Groups

The road safety team provides various educational activities for schools and children's groups. Additionally, we offer an extensive selection of road safety learning resources suitable for all ages and levels. For more information or to schedule an educational activity, please contact us.

Learn to Ride

Our Learn to Ride initiative caters to children in Years 1 to 4, introducing them to the joys of cycling and instructing them on safe cycling practices. For students in Years 5 and 6, we provide training that adheres to the national "Bikeability" standards at levels 1 and 2.

If you would like your child to learn how to ride then please ask your child's school to contact us to arrange training,

All Age Cycle Training

If you're interested in learning to ride or simply wish to feel more secure and confident on your bicycle, Nottingham City Council provides cycle training and support in partnership with Ridewise, catering to individuals of all ages and abilities.
