Background
Nottingham City Council has allocated funding from the Levelling Up Grant to improve community venues, facilities or outdoor spaces that will be used to support the delivery of community engagement activities across Bulwell and Bulwell Forest wards or venues situated in neighbouring Nottingham City wards within 500 metres of the Bulwell or Bulwell Forest ward boundaries that are regularly used by, or provide services to residents of Bulwell and Bulwell Forest.
Nottingham City Council recognises that community venues and spaces are vital to help Bulwell’s residents and communities engage with social and cultural events which help to promote community cohesion.
We also recognise that these events and venues provide an ideal opportunity for local residents to engage with volunteering opportunities.
