Greener HousiNG
The Greener HousiNG Team at Nottingham City Council works with Government funding schemes to improve the energy efficiency of homes in the city, so far over a thousand homes have benefitted. This work reduces carbon and energy use and create healthy, comfortable places for people to live.
The latest funding scheme - Warm Homes: Local Grant (WHLG) has recently been announced – see below for details.
As well as tackling fuel poverty and helping to reduce people’s energy bills, this work continues to support the UK's commitment to become net zero by 2050 alongside Nottingham’s ambitions to become the UK’s first Carbon Neutral City by 2028.
