Summary of planned improvemments
Planned improvements include solar panels on the roof and repairs to leaky roof. The improvements will enhance the physical structure and economic sustainability of the Greenway Centre while enabling us to grow our activity base, expand our reach, improve environmental performance, and involve the community in delivering shared outcomes.
Improving the building’s energy efficiency will ensure that the Centre remains warm, safe, and operational year-round. In doing so, we expect to increase footfall, particularly from older residents and young families who are most vulnerable to cost-of-living pressures and energy insecurity. Many users rely on the Centre for social interaction, learning, and structured support; securing its long-term affordability is essential to maintaining these inclusive, barrier-free services.
Planned completion date for improvements: 09/25
