Nottingham Growth Board

The Nottingham Growth Board brings together senior leaders from business, education, research and the public sector to help shape Nottingham’s economic future.

The Board provides a strong business focused voice on the city’s growth priorities, including the Nottingham Vision, helping to identify opportunities, challenge thinking and support delivery of the city’s ambitions for a more productive, inclusive and sustainable economy.

What does the Growth Board do?

The Growth Board works with Nottingham City Council and partners to:

• Provide strategic leadership on Nottingham’s economic growth
• Bring together business, education, research and public sector expertise
• Help shape and influence the delivery of Nottingham’s economic growth priorities
• Support stronger connections between businesses, investors, universities and other key partners
• Provide challenge, insight and advice to ensure that Nottingham’s growth ambitions are grounded in the needs of businesses and the wider economy

The Board is particularly focused on turning Nottingham’s Vision into practical action and helping to create the conditions for businesses, people and communities to thrive.

Our members

The Growth Board is made up of senior representatives from across Nottingham’s business and economic landscape, alongside key partners from education, research and the public sector.

Annual Report

The Growth Board meets regularly to discuss key issues affecting Nottingham’s economy, consider emerging opportunities and review progress against the city’s growth priorities.

To support transparency, agendas and approved minutes from Growth Board meetings will be published on this page.

Minutes are published once they have been agreed by the Board at a subsequent meeting.
