Nottingham City Council, along with other local licensing authorities, has a duty under the Act to licence premises where gambling is take place, and to licence certain other activities (such as registering small society lotteries).
In accordance with regulation 7 of Statutory Instrument 2006/636 and the Full Council resolution of 8 November 2021 the Statement of Principles was advertised in the Nottingham Metro on the 10 December 2021.
