The government published their Women's Health Strategy in August 2022 which can be found here - Women's Health Strategy.

It looked at women’s experiences of the health & care system. The strategy uses a life course approach (from birth to old age) which is shown in the infographic below.

Following on from this publication, Nottingham City Council’s Public Health team are writing a Women’s Health Needs Assessment and are seeking the views of local women (who live in Nottingham City and/or registered with a Nottingham GP) aged 16+ regarding their health and wellbeing.

Your feedback will help us to:

  • Assess how women access health & care services
  • Understand which aspects of health are most important to women
  • Identify any gaps

You can complete the survey online by clicking the ‘take the survey’ button located both at the top and bottom of this page.

The survey is created in Microsoft Forms, which is compatible with screen readers, has a question reader function, and can be translated into other languages (see translation section). If you require a paper copy, large print or braille copy of the survey, or need help with translation into other languages, please email us on engage@nottinghamcity.gov.uk
