Make a Positive Difference in Your Neighbourhood
Join the Nottingham Clean Champions voluntary scheme and play your part in keeping our city litter-free. You’ll become part of a growing community of dedicated volunteers, all making a difference right from their doorsteps. Together, we can create a cleaner, greener Nottingham for everyone to enjoy.
Who can apply?
Only residents, educational establishments (e.g., school, college, university), groups, or businesses within Nottingham City can sign up to the scheme. If you are aged 18 or over, complete our simple online registration form below:

f you are aged between 13-17 years old, you can apply with your parents consent.
Please download and fill out this application form: Application For Nottingham Clean Champions (YP+C) and send to clean.champions@nottinghamcity.gov.uk
A parent/legal guardian must fill out Section B of the form.
Next Steps
Once you’ve been accepted into the scheme, you’ll receive an automatic confirmation email containing our electronic toolkit and a link to order your equipment. Your litter-picking kit will arrive within 2–3 weeks of placing your order. If you haven't received your kit after 1 month, please get in touch with us so we can assist you.

Clean Champions Event Calendar
Please note that you will need to be registered as a Clean Champion prior to attending these, as you will need to have your own equipment. If you’d like us to promote your event, please email us with the below details:
- Date and time of your litter pick, including how long the event is for
- Location of the litter pick, including a meeting point
- Is this a one-off event, or is it reoccurring? For example, ‘The first Saturday of the month’
- Your name and contact details – please let us know if these can be shared
