The Cultural Investment Fund is now closed.  All funds have been allocated and we are not accepting new grant applications. We anticipate that there will be a new round of grants available in the next financial year. Information will be posted here. 

Funding Cultural Activity Across Nottingham

Nottingham City Council is launching a new Cultural Investment Fund to support cultural activity across the city during 2026/27. The fund will invest in artists, community groups, educational and cultural organisations to deliver events, projects and creative activity that strengthen neighbourhood pride, celebrate Nottingham’s diversity and increase opportunities for people of all ages to take part in culture.

What Can the Fund Support?

• Creative workshops and participatory projects for children and young people
• Community-led cultural activity and neighbourhood events
• Improving access to and engagement with cultural events and organisations
• Small-scale festivals, celebrations and heritage activity
• Development or expansion of existing community festivals
• New artistic commissions by professional artists or creative practitioners
• Projects that help local people attend museums, galleries, theatres and other cultural activities

Who Can Apply?

• Community and voluntary organisations
• Cultural and arts organisations
• Festival and event organisers
• Education providers, youth organisations and community groups
• Individual artists and freelance creative practitioners

How Much Funding Is Available?

Grants of up to £5,000 per project are available.

When Should Projects Take Place?

Funded activity must take place during the 2026/27 financial year and be completed by 31 March 2027.
