Free Fun and Food - Holiday Activity Fund
'Free Fun and Food' is funded by the Department for Education and is the City's name for the Holiday Activity Fund (HAF).
The funding enables local authorities to coordinate a programme that provides healthy food and enriching activities to disadvantaged children during the school holidays throughout 2025.
Department for Education funding is primarily for children who receive Free School Meals. However, up to 15% of the funding can be used to support other vulnerable children.
Funding will be awarded to organisations and groups that make ‘Free Fun and Food’ available to children of all ages (including those with SEND), who receive or are eligible for benefits related Free School Meals.

The application window opens on 14th April 2025 and closes on 26th May 2025.
