Nature Watch

Here you will find information on natural resources to explore, focusing on enhancing children and young people's knowledge of communities, helping them to be environmentally aware and to scientifically explore the natural world whilst supporting social interaction.

  • The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) run the biggest nature club for young people in the world with the ethos that anyone can enjoy and achieve whilst engaging with the natural world. The RSPB website for young people supports both an understanding of the environment and also encourages practical behaviours through a variety of activities, information and resources, including online games to craft activities, surveys and awards, even competitions and ways to help animals in need, there is something here for everyone.
  • The Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust wants local people and wildlife to thrive together, creating a movement for nature and making a space for nature.  There is lots of information about what they do and how you can get involved on their website.
