Level 3 Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO)

As part of the Early Years Education Recovery Programme, the Best Practice Network will be delivering funded, accredited Level 3 Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) training to up to 5,000 Early Years SENCO's until August 2024, to help identify and support children with additional needs.

Training is available for SENCO's in group based settings and childminders and comprises of online learning, group discussions and one-to-one tutoring to cover the role and responsibility of SENCO's and strategies and techniques for supporting children and families.

The qualification takes 34 hours to complete over a 4 - 6 month period depending on working circumstances.
