Nottingham Science Park is part of the D2N2 Enterprise Zones and situated opposite the University of Nottingham. Already home to some of the most innovative companies in the region, Nottingham Science Park has a further 5 acres of land ready for development within the Enterprise Zone.
Nottingham City Council and D2N2 LEP are working in partnership to develop the site, in line with the ambitions of Nottingham Growth Plan to support business expansion and create new jobs.
Planning Approval was granted in November 2018 for the first phase, construction began in January 2019 with completion due Spring 2020.
The proposal is for a 3 storey building with Grade A office space for research and development use. The building will provide a focal point and hub for the wider park including event, meeting facilities and a café. This will provide a platform for the Science sector to meet, share expertise in an environment, close to the University of Nottingham and the Boots Campus, and in one of the UK’s designated Science Cities.
A new cycle and footbridge now links the site to the Boots Campus to the rear of the site.
