The new building on the site of the old Strelley Road Library, Aspley Housing Office and Stepney Court, will feature:
- A contemporary library with a landscaped outdoor area
- Improved IT facilities
- An information desk for council service
- Meeting rooms that you'll be able to book
- New one-bedroom independent living units
- Communal area and garden for residents
Aspley Housing Office and Strelley Road Library are currently closed while work on the new centre is underway. Please see information below of alternative housing and library services you can use.
The Housing Patch Managers and Tenancy and Estate Managers for Aspley will be based at the Aspley Community Training Centre (ACTC), off Minver Crescent. You can call them on 0115 915 3121.
There will be no public reception for housing services at the ACTC so if you need to see a Housing Officer, please contact the Bulwell Housing Office on 0115 883 3500.
The office is in the Bulwell Riverside Centre on Main Street and will be open from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Wednesdays. You can ask for a home visit from your Housing Patch Manager by calling 0115 915 3121.
Strelley Road Library is now closed.
An adult and children's book lending service will be available Monday to Wednesday 2pm to 5.30pm at Broxtowe Children's Centre (on Strelley Road). A public computer and a pick up point for requests will be available and library staff will be able to help with enquiries.
If you can't use these services, you can visit your other local libraries at Aspley, Bilborough and Bulwell Riverside.
The Home Library Service can bring your books to you if you have restricted mobility and can't get to a library.
