General Information about the sessions

Basic Photography with an iPad: Discover how to use the camera on an iPad. Learn how to organise and edit your photos. Find out how to send pictures and videos to your friends and family. Explore useful photography apps.  Experience of using a touchscreen device is essential.

Build a website: Want to build a website? Join us for this intermediate session to find out how you can build a free website using the cloud-based platform Weebly. This platform uses drag and drop features to build a website so you don’t need to write any code. The goal of the course is to show you how to set up a website that you can continue to improve upon after the session. Email address and PC experience is essential

Introduction to iPads: Never used an iPad? This basic workshop will start from scratch, explaining the basic functions and features. From switching it on to connecting to Wi-Fi and browsing the web, we’ll show you how to use an iPad. No experience necessary.

Introduction to Coding: Computer Coding made simple using the BBC Microbit. Make your own interactive badge, timer, fortune teller and see your results in LED. These are family sessions for children aged 8+ with 1 parent per child.

Booking is essential. Please contact the library directly for more information and to reserve your place.

*sessions will be delivered on our library iPads and PC’s.

We really value your feedback. Can you spare a few minutes to complete our online survey and feedback on the Online session you have attended.
