We're kicking off the summer holidays with a special day of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy!

On Monday 27 July from 10am to 3.30pm we're taking over our Facebook page with a great line up for you to enjoy - from storytelling to illustrating to music: https://www.facebook.com/NottinghamLibraries

10AM: Get your pencils out and join writer and illustrator Chris White for a silly, snappy Summer Reading session!

11AM: Enjoy a special Storytime with Stacey as he reads Show and Tell by Rob Biddulph. Learn why biggest isn’t always best and then create your own crazy creature.

12PM: Storyteller Nicky Rafferty tells a charming story about a King and how he uses stories to become a better ruler. Then gather some stories from family and try out retelling them yourself.

1PM: Councillor Trimble launches the Online Library summer activities programme and reads the classic Katie Morag and the Big Boy Cousins by Mairi Hedderwick.

2PM: Watch this exclusive interactive performance from John Kirk live as he tells Roald Dahl’s classic story - The Twits!

3PM: Join Johnny from the band Johnny and the Raindrops for some body-moving, heart-warming, brain-expanding live music.
