This is a gentle introductory course for those with little or no knowledge about mindfulness

Mindfulness is proven to help with stress, anxiety, unhappiness and depression. This is a gentle introductory course for those with little or no knowledge about mindfulness. We will learn about the basic principles of mindfulness, including how to use it in our everyday lives.

All learning will take place in a supportive, encouraging environment, with highly experienced tutor Lydia Weston. Lydia teaches and lectures in Counselling and Mindfulness at Central College, Nottingham. Lydia's passion is to help others learn how to empower their own wellbeing by using mindfulness in their everyday lives.

This short course is an ideal way to learn, be inspired and make new friends.

  • Dates: Enrolment and meet the tutor Monday 10 February between 10.30 am -12.30 pm. The course starts Monday 24 February and runs alternate weeks until 4 May.
  • Sessions: Alternate Mondays, 10.30 am - 12.30 pm at Nottingham Central Library
