  • Develop the skills or knowledge of both the adult and child participants
  • Help mothers, fathers and carers to be more active in supporting their children's learning and development


Family & Community Learning Grants 2018 to 2019

Nottingham City Council’s Family & Community Learning (FCL) service, with funding from the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), are inviting Voluntary and Community Sector based organisations and training providers of Small or Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) to bid for small grants of £10k to £35k to offer bespoke programmes of learning to city residents.

Successful applicants will play a vital role in supporting the council's commitment to raising aspirations, improving health and wellbeing, increasing skill levels and reducing unemployment.

To achieve these aims we welcome applications from community based providers who can deliver quality teaching and learning, whilst offering innovative and exciting programmes that entice and engage new learners .
