Victoria Travel Centre is open! | Victoria Travel Centre, which is located in Victoria Bus Station, is now open. The opening times are Monday - Friday (9.00am - 5.00pm, with the last transaction at 4.45pm). The Travel Centre will also be closed for lunch between 12.30pm and 1.00pm everyday.

PLEASE NOTE:

Our Victoria Travel Centre is now open.

Previously, Nottingham City Council had waived the £10 replacement fee for all senior and mobility concessionary cards. However, this charge will be put back in place from Wednesday 26 August.

We appreciate your support during this tough time and urge you all to do what you can to stay safe.

If you’re eligible to apply for a senior concessionary card, and you can apply up to 14 days before you are eligible for the senior concessionary card, you can apply online, by post or in person at Victoria Travel Centre (located in Victoria Bus Station at the rear of the Victoria Shopping Centre).

Face coverings on public transport

From Monday 15 June, wearing a face covering on public transport in England became mandatory. However, some people may be exempt.

The requirement to wear a face covering does not apply:

  • if you have a physical or mental illness or impairment, or a disability that means you cannot put on, wear or remove a face covering
  • if putting on, wearing or removing a face covering would cause you severe distress
  • if you are travelling with, or providing assistance to, someone who relies on lip reading to communicate
  • if you are travelling to avoid injury or escape the risk of harm, and you do not have a face covering with you
  • if you need to remove it during your journey to avoid harm or injury or the risk of harm or injury to yourself or others
  • if you need to eat, drink, or take medication you can remove your face covering
  • if you are asked to remove your face covering by a police officer or other official, for example to check your railcard
  • to children under the age of 11
  • to a constable, police community support officer, emergency responder (e.g. paramedic) or fire officer acting in the course of their duty

If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, please tell the driver as you board. You do not have to explain why you are exempt.

For those who do not have to wear a face covering, we have produced Journey Assistance cards that can be shown to drivers when boarding public transport. These can be found and downloaded below.
