Overview

Gaming machines offer games of chance and reward players with cash or other valuable items. They are also referred to as fruit machines. Most operators providing gaming machines require licences from the Gambling Commission and the Licensing Authority for their premises.

Only businesses with a Licensing Act 2003 premises licence are eligible for a licensed premises licence and are suitable for licensed premises gaming machine permits.
