This permit entitles commercial clubs to offer a maximum of three Category B4, C or D gaming machines. The permit will not authorize any other facilities for gaming.

A permit once granted will last for 10 years

Please see the Gambling Act 2005 for the current application fees.

A renewal fee is payable at the end of the 10 years.

If bingo played on the premises does not exceed £2000.00 in stakes or prizes in a seven-day period, it can be provided as an exempt, equal chance game.

High Turnover Bingo

If High Turnover Bingo is played the Club needs to:

  • Inform the Gambling Commission
  • If at the end of the seven-day period, the Club still requires a High Turnover Bingo in the following year, it must obtain a bingo operating licence from the Gambling Commission
