This permit entitles members clubs to offer up to a maximum of three Category B4, C or D gaming machines, as well as facilities for equal chance gaming, subject to limits and games that are prescribed in regulations.

The permit once granted will remain in force for 10 years.

A renewal fee is required at the end of this period.  

High Turnover Bingo

If bingo played on the premises does not exceed £2000.00 in stakes or prizes in seven days, it can be provided as an exempt, equal chance game.

If High Turnover Bingo is played the Club needs to:

  • Inform the Gambling Commission
  • If at the end of the seven days, the Club still requires a High Turnover Bingo in the following year, it must obtain a bingo operating licence from the Gambling Commission
