Statement of Licensing Policy

Consultation Details

Consultation open 23 July 2018 to 16 September 2018

Nottingham City Council has begun the consultation process regarding renewal of the Statement of Licensing Policy 2019-2024

The Licensing Act 2003 requires a Licensing Authority to review its’ Statement of Licensing Policy at least every five years.

The purpose of the Statement is to inform those making and considering applications for licences and other notifications of the Authorities standards and values in promoting the licensing objectives as stated within the legislative framework and Statutory guidance issued by the Home Office.

We welcome the views of its citizens, including views of operators and people involved in the licensed trade together with those persons affected by the industry such as residents. The consultation concentrates legislative and demographic amendments since the last adopted policy in 2014.

Documents are also available for viewing at Nottingham City Council, Central Police Station, Byron House, Maid Marian Way, Nottingham NG1 6HS by contacting the Licensing Office on 0115 915 6571.
