Nottingham City Council has been reviewing the drug and alcohol recovery and treatment system, a key part of which was engaging with citizens, service users and stakeholders. Over the summer of 2022 (16th May to 13th June and 18th July to 15th August), a two-stage survey was released on the Engagement Hub. Along with a series of focus groups, individual interviews and workshop events, commissioners have identified a range of successes and barriers which will be used to inform the design and delivery of the recovery and treatment system for people who use drugs and alcohol.
