Consultation Details

The City Council has a statutory duty to consult on draft Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) and draft Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)

We would like to get views on the following 4 x draft planning policy documents:

  • Biodiversity SPD
  • The Provision of Open Space in New Residential and Commercial Development SPD
  • Management of the Caves of Nottingham SPD
  • Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)

The SPDs supplement those policies in the adopted Core Strategy and the emerging Local Plan Part 2: Land and Planning Policies document (LAPP).

A SCI provides clarity on the extent of community involvement that will take place during the preparation of planning documents and the determination of planning applications.
