The Council recognises that in some instances the management of Assets by the community and voluntary sectors can deliver benefits to the citizens of Nottingham. In many instances the voluntary sector is best placed to host community facilities as their management and use can be more responsive to the needs and opportunities of the community. In recognising that, the Council has developed a draft Community Assets Policy to support it in delivering its Strategic Objectives and when making future decisions in relation to both the management and transfer of community assets. The Council now wishes to seek the views and comments of interested residents through this survey prior to formal adoption of the Policy.
