Nottingham City PVI DSL Network

Network Leaders: Overseen by the NCSCP and led by the Safeguarding Service Manager and Guest Speakers

Audience: Specifically for Nottingham City PVI practitioners (Day Nurseries and Preschools)

Network Summary:  The PVCI DSL Network is free to attend for Nottingham City DSLs and overseen by the Nottingham City Safeguarding Children Partnership (NCSCP). Featuring regular guest speakers the network provides valuable information to ensure all DSLs are kept up to date with current issues and developments.

An added bonus to attending these termly networks is that DSLs need not refresh their Safeguarding training as they will be kept abreast of any developments and current practice.  DSLs attending the network are also supported with website resources.

The aims of the network are to:

  • Develop and enhance safeguarding practices and processes across the Early Years sector
  • Improve communication between the Early Years  sector and the Safeguarding Children Board
  • Provide support to DSL’s in their role as a DSL
