Trent FM and Nottingham City Council joined forces to add Beverley Knight, who was awarded an MBE for services to music last year, to the impressive line-up of acts taking part in the Free Music Weekend from March 30th-April 1st. Also on the bill are The Magic Numbers, Just Jack, ex-Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley and top local acts Clarky Cat and Crazy P.
Fans of the soul queen can expect to hear previous chart-toppers such as Shoulda Woulda Coulda and Gold, as well as hits-in-the-making from the new album, which is being described as the definitive Beverley Knight album.
