NHS 60th Anniversary Celebrations |

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, the county’s mental health and learning disability Trust, in partnership with Unison, has organised an exciting and vibrant event to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the NHS on Saturday 5 July, 10.00am – 4.00pm, in the Market Square, Nottingham City Centre.
The event will bring together the diverse communities of Nottinghamshire to celebrate the achievements of the NHS and showcase NHS services across the county. The event will also raise awareness and tackle the stigma surrounding mental health and learning disabilities.
The day will include a range of activities for all to enjoy, such as henna art and head massage, information on a range of topics including mental health and learning disabilities, and Asian and Afro-Caribbean food will be available. There will also be a number of performances including comedy sketches, dance, music and poetry.

Mela |

The Nottingham Mela will bring together South Asian people and families from around the country in an environment of creativity, tolerance and respect.
