What is Arboriculture?

Arboriculture is the planting and care of woody plants, especially trees. Nottingham City Council's grounds team deals with tree services and cemetery maintenance. The tree services team is responsible for removing old, unsafe or overgrown trees located in public or council owned areas.

To notify the Council of a dangerous tree, call one of our tree officers on 0115 9152264 or 9152007. Out of hours, please call our Emergency Call Centre on 0115 915 2222.
