This film was made to demonstrate the contribution the events depicted in the film make to the City’s community cohesion agenda. Featured are the annual

Caribbean Carnival, Mela, Pride, Riverside Festival and Robin Hood Pageant and has commentary from people with relevance to the each event. The introduction is given by Francois Matarasso, the Chair of Arts Council East Midlands and a highly respected arts researcher and writer.

It was commissioned by the Arts and Events service and presented at the Eurocities Cultural Committee’s AGM in Gdansk, November 2007
