Road Safety Education and Training

The Road Safety team provide a mixture of education, training and campaigns to help people use the road safely and reduce casualties.

Child Cycle Training

Our Lifecycle project is offered to all schools. Starting with children in Year 1 - 4 we introduce them to cycling and teach them how to cycle safely. In Years 5 and 6 we offer the national "Bikeability" standard to level 1 and 2.

If you would like your child to learn how to ride then ask your child's school to contact us to arrange training or for more information contact us using the button at the top right of this screen.

Schools can contact us to arrange training by using the link at the top right of this screen.

Adult Cycle Training

Nottingham City Council, in association with Ridewise, is also able to offer cycle training to adults. For more information please visit the Ridewise website.
