Senior Railcard

With a Senior Railcard anyone 60 years or over can save a 1/3 on Standard and First Class rail fares throughout Great Britain for 12 whole months.

What it costs

  • A one year Senior Railcard costs£30
  • A three year Senior Railcard costs £70

Who is eligible?

You're eligible to buy a Senior Railcard if you are 60 years old or over. You can buy your Senior Railcard up to two weeks before your 60th birthday when you buy online, but it will only be valid from your birth date.

How to buy

  • At a staffed station ticket office

Disabled Persons Railcard

The Disabled Persons Railcard allows you to get 1/3 off most rail fares throughout Great Britain. If you're travelling with an adult companion they also can get 1/3 off their rail fare - so you can save money for your friends too!

What it costs

  • A one-year Disabled Persons Railcard costs £20
  • A three year Disabled Persons Railcard costs £54

Who is eligible?

You need to give proof that you are eligible for a railcard. You might qualify if you: have a visual impairment, a hearing impairment, have epilepsy or are in receipt of a disability-related benefit.
