Consultation Framework

In April 2006 Nottingham City Council adopted a Consultation Framework 2006/2009 to help us consult more effectively and achieve our consultation vision.

This framework:

• Sets out an effective and co-ordinated consultation framework for the authority to avoid consultation fatigue and duplication.
• Shows how the Council will use consultation findings in its decision-making processes and how timely feedback of the outcomes will be given to consultees
• Shows how we will use consultation with our service users and the wider community to improve performance and to inform/develop its strategic priorities.
• Shows how we will ensure our consultation is inclusive and representative
