Nottingham City Council will be undertaking repairs to the tiling and flooring around the Gala and small pools at Victoria Leisure Centre throughout November and December.

This means that the pools will be closed as follows:

Small Pool

Closed from 22 October 2008 to Friday 12 December 2008

Gala pool

Closed from Saturday 13 December 2008 to Monday 5 January 2009

During these periods customers are advised that additional Nottingham City Council swimming pool facilities are available at Portland Leisure Centre, accessible via any of Nottingham City Transport’s Green Line buses from the city centre (departing from outside Wilkinsons on Lower Parliament Street).

For information about swimming at Portland please call 0115 915 0015 or click here.Portland Leisure Centre

Nottingham City Council has committed to replacing Victoria Leisure Centre with a new swimming pool facility. These repairs will enable Victoria Leisure Centre to stay open for as long as possible until replacement works begin (we are currently awaiting the results of a Feasibility and Options Study that will determine when this will be).
