The Local Transport Plan (LTP) Delivery Report forms a review of the five-year period of the first LTP for Greater Nottingham, which covered the period between 2001/2 and 2005/6.

The Report details the overall impact on transport provision of the Plan, the wider impacts in terms of town centre vitality and social inclusion, the progress we have made towards our targets, and the delivery of key strategies and schemes.

The main achievements of the Plan period include restricting traffic growth to less than 1%, alongside an increase in public transport patronage of 8%. The number of people killed or seriously injured on Greater Nottingham’s roads has also dramatically reduced by over 20%.
