Death head, four-fold, Austrian tinies, Dorset thread, come and see these and many other types of button on and off garments in the museums’ collections with Jeremy Farrell, Keeper of Costumes & Textiles. Bring your own special buttons for us all to see. Booking essential, please call 0115 915 3500 during normal opening hours.

Relive the atmosphere of life on the home front with music, dancing, re-enactments and much, much more. Step back in time and take part in a marvellous 1940s knees-up! Part of Nottingham City Council’s Veterans Celebrations 2008.
