Public transport single tickets

A range of adult and child single tickets are available from all the major operators. The price of a single ticket varies according to the distance travelled.

All single tickets are valid for one-way travel on any route and can only be purchased on board the bus or tram.

Standard single fare

  • Nottingham City Transport – there are 2 prices for a standard single ticket, depending on the length of journey taken
    • £1.50
    • £1.00

  • Trentbarton – a set fare within the City
    • £1.50

£1 add on return - do you use a cash saver ticket into Nottingham and transfer onto a Citylink 1, Citylink 2, Unilink or Skylink bus? You can now ask for a £1 add on instead of paying the full fare. Just show your cash saver ticket to the driver.

  • NET (tram) – there are 2 fares on NET.
    • £2.50 peak time fare - before 0930 Mondays to Fridays
    • £1.50 off peak fare at all other times

Both NCT, NET and Trentbarton offer flat child single fares, trentbarton is 75p within the City boundary, NCT is 80p and NET is £1.

Children under 5 years of age can travel free if accompanied by a full fare paying adult.
