Both the bus operators and the tram offer discounted travel to children, there are a range of ticket options available to children from single tickets to regular traveller passes.

NCT child fares are not valid after 21.45

  • NCT operate a flat fare system - 80p,
  • Trentbarton have a flat child fare within the City boundary – 75p
  • NET have a flat fare of £1 for all single journeys
    
    
• Regular travellers
  • NCT – easyrider <18 pass - £7.50 for 7 days, from £26 for 28 days (on-line price), £70 for 3 months, offering the holder unlimited travel on all NCT buses within the City Area.
  • NET – Weekly Tram Rider - £8 for unlimited travel all week on the tram

For the purposes of bus and tram ticketing:

• Children under 5 years of age - travel free of charge, if accompanied by a fare paying adult
• Children aged 5 years to 15 years may travel at a reduced rate, anyone 16 years or over must pay the full adult fare.
