the City Centre
On-street parking in Nottingham is set to
become easier for shoppers and business users with the introduction of On-street parking charges for
the City centre's 1,500 roadside parking spaces. The City Council scheme, which aims to make parking
spaces available more often for more people, is being introduced on Monday 2 April. Initially around
90 On-Street Parking Charges machines will be in operation, rising to around 200 on completion of the
scheme. Machines will be strategically placed adjacent to groups of parking spaces.
