Nottingham Travelwise

The live information and imagery provided by the Traffic Control Centre, together with Nottingham City Council's database of road works and data supplied by the Highways Agency, is available to the public through Nottingham Travelwise.

Designed to offer real-time traffic and travel information, Travelwise has evolved into a full-featured website maintained within the Lawrence House Traffic Control Centre. It currently provides a wide variety of information including:

• 60-second update feeds from live traffic cameras
• Road-surface detector based congestion information
• Car park space availavbility
• Average journey times (for the A611 - to be rolled out on a wider scale soon)
• Current and future roadworks
• Geographically located speed camera locations for the current week
• Assistance in planning your journey

Nottingham Travelwise is a partnership between Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and the Highways Agency.
