"Managing an Emergency" - the Councils main Generic Plan

The City Council’s “Managing an Emergency” Plan is designed to handle any major emergency within Nottingham City Council’s boundaries irrespective of how, where, or when it happens. To be able to do this it is based on a framework which can be flexibly adapted to respond to differing circumstances.

The Emergency Planning Section’s role is to act as the focal point for contact between the Emergency Services and the City Council. It provides local authority and other resources to support the Police, Fire Service, Ambulance and Health Services.
